In August 1973 Local identities Ross Patten and Marie Sinclair, brother and sister, commenced a real estate business at the present address and like all new business owners - full of energy , ideas and hope. Soon they had a thriving agency specialising in residential sales, auctions and property management.

In 1985 Marie retired and John Taylor, another local who was already working at Ross Patten First National, became a director of the company. Ross and John have been jointly responsible for the sale of approximately 6,000 local properties, possibly more than any other two sales people in the District. "We've always promoted our company vigorously" says Ross, "but the hallmark of our business has always been, and we hope will continue to be referral by satisfied customers."
